I3 infrasolutions began their partnership with key contractors at Clarke Creek Wind Farm when early construction commenced in June 2022. Earthing was a key element required from the get-go and i3 worked closely with the key electrical contractors to supply over 30km of copper conductor and all associated grid accessories. This required specific procurement in short time-frames as well as tailored delivery direct from suppliers to the job site in regional Southern Queensland.
In addition to the familiar goods supplied, i3 undertook the challenge of supplying two 56kL Oil-Water Separator tanks for MacIntyre which are crucial for eliminating the threats of any oil spills and run-offs from the substations. I3 worked closely with both the manufacturer and contractor through the design and approval process, all the way to the delivery to site of the 13-metre-long, 3000kg tanks.
